great place to give birth

I have been to several hair salons but the Yellow Balloon on Westwood is my favorite. Natalie cut my 2 1/2 year old's hair last month and he got stopped in the street with "He's soooo cute!" Yes, he's cute but made even cuter by a fabulous haircut. Today, we are off to get my 12 year old's hair cut. Friendly people, good cuts!

Me and the family went to the Rose Bowl Flea Market and had NO fun so we gps'd kidspace and found that it was actually right across the way at the park. From the outside you wouldn't think it was much but we realized we were wrong as we walked through the kalidescope entryway with our amazed daughter. It was such a fun afternoon filled with learning and we were only sorry that we didn't have her bathing suit and water shoes. It is so cool here and there was even a room with a tree house in it that m little six month old had a blast in. This is a gem. I will consider throwing a birthday party here also. The food is alright but i think you can bring your own food. There is so much to do outdoors and indoors! I will be getting a season pass the next time i go.

Mom's The Word has everything from formal to casual attire. I always find what I need! The quality is good too.

The selection for children is very small and the boys section even even smaller. I found the prices to be really high - even by Segal's standards. With that said, they have a unique selection in comparison with department stores. I wouldn't shop here myself but that's not to say someone else wouldn't enjoy it.
