We have fun going here and looking at everyting. My son usually stays with me here because he's so busy looking around.

We go to the museum all the time and the kids love it. The hours are limited which is a bummer but it is very inexpensive and easy to keep an eye on your kids (not too big and not too crowded). Definitely worth it!

We live in Andersonville, so we are often walking up and down Clark St. We cannot pass the Swedish American Museum without my daughter BEGGING to go in. It is one of the most interesting and unique places to take your children. It is so fun to dress up, "milk" the cow, ride the boat, plant the garden, and fish in the stream--kids LOVE it! All the while, they are experiencing what it might be like to immigrate to the United States--brilliant! My daughter also loves the gift shop which sells adorable American Girl Doll-sized Swedish costumes.

A great place to go and see... the children's exhibits are so much fun they can milk a cow, pretend to pack luggage,... a very cute gift shop and it's right in the heart of andersonville!
