My mom bought us the yearly pass for the Museum for our Christmas present the year Hannah Rose was born (2002). I thought, what is a two month old going to do at a museum? Turned out - lots!!!! Now she's five and we STILL love going to the museum and enjoying the two stories of creative activity and play space. There's a darling cafe inside (museum prices - you can also pack a lunch - but they've got GREAT coffee you might want to splurge on!)
Outside of the museum is a darling little play park plus during the summer the trolley/train runs around the area which is great fun for the kids.
If you want to go more than two or three times, definitely get the family pack which is less than $100.00 for the family - they also have a grandparent add-on you can do.
We still love going there and it's good fun for all. (Oh, and wear play clothes if your little Picasso loves to paint....)

we go early sunday mornings before lunch when it is not crowded. there are activities for all ages of children especially the work shop when they are older

Although the activies are fun, one of my kids ends up with rotavirus, foot and mouth or some other contagious disease every time we go! We've stopped going because I hate being sick afterwards. I'm sure they try to keep it clean, but it probably just isn't possible with so many kids in and out!

The many different rooms in the museum were all so much fun. I was especially impressed with the mini store, the mini basetball court, and the huge fire engine.

I like going there with my baby and toddler- there is a baby area that is great for both of them (although I do have to prtect other babies from my toddler's attentions)
great place to go when it's cold or wet outside. can be busy esp on weekends.
