 After desperately trying to figure out how much my son was eating, why he was crying and fighting his sleep I emailed Alisa. She was just as concerned as I was and made herself available immediately.
What a gift she has! Not only did she weigh him before and after feedings to determine how much he was eating but she also taught us how to create a soothing environment for him. It was everything we needed to feel confident as new parents.
I highly suggest reaching out to Alisa for all your concerns not only is she a lactaction consultant but certified in the Happiest Baby on the Block.

Alisa is a godsend! She has such a vast knowledge of these little creatures and speaks their language! She has been so helpful to me, every step of the way. From nursing to colic cures to sleeping - and yes, even the pre terrible twos! Whatever the issue may be, she can not only help, but explain to you why it is happening. This helped give me a much better understanding of what was really going on. Alisa is extremely flexible, and always willing to help - be it over the phone or in person, if necessary. In addition to being a baby wiz, she is also a board certified lactation consultant, and helped me and many others I know be able to nurse successfully. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. Just call her and you'll see!

The Calm Baby RN is the only one who could help me. My baby did not sleep, was fussy all the time and I was going out of my mind.Nothing I was doing was working. I heard from a friend about the classes and playgroups that the Calm Baby RN hosts, so I went. Well, just after the first class/playgroup I attended my baby was a different baby. She actually slept thru the night-my husband was amazed. I loved the Calm Baby RN so much I had her come to my house for a house call. I now use her all the time, she is my go to person-she makes house calls and does phone consultations. I love her classes and playgroups that she holds at Jill's Place in Randolph, New Jersey-we go as much as we can.
