Seeing the beautiful building is reason enough to go to the new Academy, but the exhibits are also great. The aquarium is great, as is the rain forest feature. The new admission price is steep, but I got a membership, and in two trips, you have gotten your money's worth.

daughter was impressed by the exhibits, but frustrated by all the people and inability to walk w/o people bumping into her. a little pricey for what it was.

This is a great place for children and toddlers. Great, rotating exhibits. Just a block away from the Yreba Beuna playground and the Metreon. Make a day of it! You take take public transportation or park in the Metreon garage

Was extremely disappointed with the temporary location of the Academy. It is so small and doesn't seem worth the admission price. Cafe prices were really high for the quality of food.
