"the word-of-mouth survival guide for DENVER parents"

This product was a little too thick and messy for my taste. It also didn't clear up my son's rash. I have heard many other people rave about this product though.

My daughter and I both have sensitive skin, and she has had some bad butt rashes. Slap some butt paste on there and it's gone within hours usually. Now I know to catch it before it even gets to a rash, and if her hiney looks a little red, we put it on and at the next diaper change, she's back to normal! I think it's great because it doesn't smell really strong, it wipes off easily (and who really wants to scrub a raw hiney to remove a too thick paste?) and it spreads on really easily. I worked in a daycare before and remember having to put diaper creams on other kids and it was so hard to get it to coat them. One kid came in with butt paste and I was spreading the word to all the other parents. Also, you can buy it in a one pound tub, which is great for home use.
It also has a use for grownups, sort of! I was getting a rash behind my knees last summer from kneeling next to my daughter's wading pool for hours on end, so I put some butt paste behind my knees before going out there (like I said it doesn't smell much) and it kept me from having irritated skin too.

this never would get rid of my daughter's diaper rash. i ended up throwing it out and using original desitin. Desitin does a lot better job clearing diaper rash, her rash was gone the next day.
