QuoteSo maybe I don't look like I can afford the "hip and stylish" clothes they sell here (after all, I was wearing common Gap maternity clothes), but I've never been followed around a store before. I went in to buy a pair of tights ($25) and spied the sale bin. As I walked over to it, one of the salespeople stopped folding sweaters and followed me. Without asking if I needed help, she just stood and watched me as if I was going to tuck the tights under my shirt and walk out. I bought the tights, which was stupid, but I didn't want them to think I couldn't. Needless to say, I won't go back.

QuoteThis maternity store has carefully selected items that are extremely hip and tasteful. Being mothers themselves, the owners know what you need and are extremely helpful.

QuoteBrooklyn mothers opened this new maternity store and have filled it with wonderful options for those few "special things" that help you keep feeling good when you are huge. totally unlike standard maternity stores, definitely worth a special trip.

QuoteBrooklyn finally has it'sv very own beautiful designer maternity store! No need to run to the city to find sexy, fun clothing for pregnancy. It's all right here. Sure, there's always Old Navy but that's for some everyday pieces. Check out Bump though for it's beautiful clothes that will take you through those first few weeks of feeling bloated to post pregnancy. Some of their clothes you can absolutely wear even if you're not pregnant. Two local moms smartly decided to open up this store realizing that there was a niche to be filled in the neighborhood. And they're also smartly designed it--beaiutiful exposed brick walls, subdued lighting, chairs to actually sit on and take a load off (hello, all you other maternity stores please learn from this, pregnant women often get tired)--as well as smartly filled it with clothing that will make you certainly want to get pregnant if you're not already. They are also planning on doing fun and interesting monthly events (serving mocktails and cocktails) that will help connect soon to be parents with baby-related resources such as doulas and bab/ maternity photographers, etc.

QuoteSome local moms just opened this store and have stocked it with well-designed clothes and products. Head and shoulders above the other Park Slope options.
