QuoteI'm a parent of three kids and a swimmer myself in college. I love this swim school. I tried other programs before I found this one, but will never go back. I read the previous review and found it to be completly false. Having been a swimmer my whole life, the smell of pool water and summer sweat on your kid can be strong, but here's a novel idea.....have your kid take a shower after swim lessons. Wrapping your wet swim suit in a towel and throwing it in a hot car!!! Yeah it's gonna smell! Bubbles has hot showers and plenty of shampoo and conditioner. As far as your kid falling into the water, does anyone out there have an 18m old who sits still? If so, I'd like to know your secret. My little one wiggled all over the place, and yeah he fell off the steps. The teacher calmly brought him back and taught him to stay on the steps. Within three weeks of lessons the teacher had him playing quietly on the steps between his turns. I simply followed through with the program and they learned to swim, not just play in the water. Highly recommend and thankful this swim school is around.

QuoteI was happy to find a swim school so close to my house, but after the first session I was swiftly disappointed. ONE: No personal and social skills. The staff is not friendly and I find them all down right rude. The only time I was spoken to by anyone was when I was asked if I was signing up for the next session. Hell No. TWO: The place is filthy. I won't step foot inside the restrooms. My children use the bathroom before we leave and that's it. The pool smells. My children's skin stinks after leaving and their swim suits have a foul odor that won't go away. We have a pool and have never experienced this. THREE: You don't get what you pay for. The ratio is to be 1:3 however out of 7 lessons we have been to, 4 of them have had a 1:4 ratio. The class is 30 minutes, that means my child gets 7 1/2 minutes of instruction time. Not very long to learn much of anything. FOUR: One of my children is 18mo, so I was told a parent needs to have their feet in the water. Of course my child is not going to sit there still if I'm around. He wants me to hold him and play with him, and I get reprimanded by the owner. She had me put him on the steps and said to not touch him. HELLO - he fell into the water over and over and she was irritated when I grabbed him, implying I should let him learn by near drowning. I was furious and decided that was the last straw. FIVE: I really don't like that they teach the kids to swim with an assisted flotation device. It gives a false sense of skill to the child. I highly advise all to seek swim lessons elsewhere

QuoteThe owner may have be very experienced in teaching kids how to swim. The pool is clean and the showers are convenient. The staff do a good job with the kids but its ATTITUDE is problem. Their attitude is that they are doing YOU a favor. They are extremely strict on their rules! Even if the mom is the hospital for a week and recovery from surgery; They will NOT allow more than ONE make up a session. Do NOT expect them to work with you on ANYTHING. I have paid for a full session and will missing 1/2 of it. Do NOT expect any proration or make-ups. WRONG ATTITUDE IN TODAY'S BUSINESS WORLD!! unexpected things happen, they classes are NOT cheap to be blowing it off. I HIGHLY recommend AQUA PRO swim school in Clairemont, two of my older kids attended their school for over 2 years. They learned how to swim when they are babies and the staff are 1,000 times friendlier! I decided to try out a school Bubbles Swim School because it is closer to my house but i think i should have driven the extra miles to Aqua Pro. I find that each school have their own techniques of teaching the kids but will get the same results. UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER.

QuoteI have taken my children to swimming lessons at several facilities in the area, and the instruction at Bubbles is the best I have seen. They also have small class sizes which gives each child a nice amout of personal attention. Family run business with the owners in the water, and it is easy to see that they care about all their little swimmers. Highly recommended.

QuoteExtremely competent swim instruction, run by two generations of calm and caring mothers. Your baby/child goes in the pool without you, so they learn to follow instuctions and take turns. The facility is clean with lots of toys. My daughter has been going since she was a few months old and loves swimming.
