QuoteThe Athenaeum has fine programs for young children and a thoughtfully arranged children's library (with a dedicated children's librarian). There are only four or so kids' events per year, but they are always a delight (puppet shows, "make your own museum" day, etc.).

QuoteThis private library was recently renovated and now has a wonderful children's library...and even better terrific children's librarians! Story hours with activities and snacks are Tuesday and Saturday mornings, but you can stop in any time and browse the books. There is a special lower priced membership category for those under 40 ($150 annually for a family). A wonderful resource for kids and their families. www.bostonathenaeum.org
