I am so happy to be able to write a review of my experience with Birth Day Presence. I met several of the birth doulas before making my decision...they offer many different doulas of varying experience levels in a wide range of prices. Frankly, I liked every women I met so much that it was a hard choice to make. I decided to go with Terry Richmond, one of the owners of the company and she was just incredible! I also took Jada Shapiro's (the other owner) group childbirth class...learned so much and felt like she gave us so many tools to work with for our birth. After our birth, we used one of their postpartum doulas, Meghan Mahar, who was again such a wonderful help...I highly recommend working with them...

She was very helpful, but in the end, I don't think I needed a lactation consultant.

Absolutely the best! Birth Day Presence gets my highest recommendation. They saved my life! I had such a difficult time during labor and the whole birthing experience. I can't imagine what would have happened if Terry wasn't there to guide me through the process with her knowlege and expertise. I can't say enough good things about her - she was incredible from start to finish. She knew what to do in the most awkward and difficult situations. Having a doula is a MUST - and Birth Day Presence are amazing and totally worth it
