My 3 yo old daughter loves the fishes and always wants to go see the aquarium. We love it because once a month we can go for free because we use Bank of America. They have a museums on us program so it doesn't cost us a thing.

The Birch Aquarium was okay. It is a bit small and over priced, but what they do have is fun to see. The overview of the ocean is beautiful, the dark aquarium part may be too scary for small children.

My 18 month old gets a kick out of seeing the fish!
Consider getting a membership if you will be bringing family members. The family membership is a great deal.
It's a short outing, but it's a great way to spend a couple of hours.

Lots to see and do. Not busy and great pricing. Perfect for young children!
