Dr Franks is wonderful! She obviously loves kids and enjoys her job. Every doctor that I have had contact with in the practice has been great.

Luckily we don't have to see our pediatrician too often, but when we do, Dr. Franks has been there for us. We recommend her highly.

It's good that if you call with a question, your own doctor returns your call, but it would often be better if you could get advice right away from a nurse. The after hours advice is subcontracted out to a national service and they end up having to call your doctor after you've waited for answering service to call you back.

Dr. Lang is great. She has kids of her own so I like that she knows what it's like to be a parents from personal experience. She is very practical and gives wonderful advice. She is sensitive to the eclectic "Berkeley" population but doesn't cater to it...she caters to what's best for your child.

Berkeley Pediatrics is the best. You can walk in off the street and they can usually see your child without much of a wait. FYI, Dr Boynton and Gruber, two of the most experienced and respected Pediatricians in the bay area are now retired and no longer work at Berkeley Peds.
