This museum is great for a sunny day, as you need to walk outside between the buildings.
There is a great playground/interactive area outside for kids. The main exhibit changes periodically so it is worth it to call or check the website. I found it a little shy of things to keep the kids busy for more then a couple of hours.

It is worth it to buy the membership. They offer different exhibits and an art room with painting and activities. It gets crowded on rainy days.

they really get 5 stars for creativity. the outdoor area that includes the maze and ship structure are so much fun. we've always gone with friends who have season passes and have had fun. weekends can get kind of crazy, but on a nice sunny day it can't be beat!

Liked the special area just for tots. Wish there was a bit more to it, though. Also, wish they were a little more vigilant about keeping older kids out--a couple of boys who were clearly too big for the room almost trampled my daughter. It seemed to dawn on their father rather slowly that his sons weren't supposed to be in there. But all in all, a good way to entertain a bored baby.
