My husband and I hired a doula after our daughter was born because we did not know what to expect. Turns out we didn't need one. The woman who came was very nice, but instead of looking for things to do, she just watch me breastfeed and told me about her health problems. After 2 days we told her we were doing fine and didn't need her. She said she understoodand would send us an invoice. It took her over a week to send the invoice and before the invoice came we received a horrible, blaming voicemail from the woman who runs this operation yelling at us because they deserved to be paid. This was a week exactly after I gave birth. We put the check in the mail the day we received the invoice. Overall it was poor service and poorly run.
