QuoteMy son has gone to Bass Wolfson Pediatrics since he was born. He is now 2. We have routinely waited over an hour to see Dr. Wolfson. Yesterday was the last time. I am now searching for a new pediatrician. In addition to the lack of respect of your time, they do not support breastfeeding, like they claim (I was told to give up on breastfeeding when my son was 3 months old). I have also been told I was being an overly cautious mother by one of the Dr's in the practice when after three months of dealing with a cold that was keeping my son up at night, I finally made an appointment. After making two additional appointments and my son being on two different antibiotics, the cold finally went away. When the Dr's do finally see you, it is obvious they are trying to get out as quickly as possible. Overall, I think that there has to be a better office out there somewhere.

QuoteI would say Dr Wolfson is great but Dr Kovel is not very professional. Also, if you see Dr. Kovel you probably will have least support from staff. It feels like this practice aims at extracting more and more money from you. They will call you to followup but will ask you to come-in "again" for followup checkup. You go there and he you are fine - bye bye. If your kid is not sick - you will have a hard time dealing with anyone there. I am looking at other options in the area now.

QuoteWe were very disappointed with this practice. We left after our child was about 1.5 months old. They did not support breastfeeding, though they said before our son was born that they would. We waited sometimes as long as an hour to see the doctor. Though their waiting room was spacious and clean, they were hurried, by the book doctors, with little personality. More like robots. We switched to East Side Pediatrics where we have been very happy!

QuoteI researched so many pediatricians when I was pregnant with my son four years ago and when I found Bass Wolfson, I was so happy. Their office is great, we can always get an appointment right away, they are always on time when we go. My kids love them!

QuoteThe nurses and doctors at Bass Wolfson are wonderful. While the only waiting room entertainment consists of books, a big chalkboard, and the wooden block things you see in every MD office, you wait longer in the individual exam rooms than in the waiting room itself. The nurses are wonderful and caring. The call in time for questions in the morning is great and the nurses who answer the rest of the day are great too. Dr Kim herself is a wonderful doctor with babies and toddlers and she appeals to them with her voice and mannerisms. You can wait a while but you can also wait 1o minutes. It depends on the day. Overall, a GREAT practice.
