Barnes and Noble lets kids know that they're welcome in the store. There's a terrific, enclosed kids area with lots of space to sit and read. There's a table where you can read to your child, and a great selection of staff recommendations so you can try something new. The staff are very helpful and can recommend books that are just right for your child's reading level.
There's a Starbucks next door so you can read what you bought over hot cocoa and cookies. Don't miss their summer reading program, where kids can earn free books!

There is no Thomas table!! Plus the children's area is not enclosed. It is so much better when they are running off into a dead end.
