Bananas is awesome. Not only are they a great childcare resource, but they also offer great parenting classes - for free! They often even feed the parents and give them board books at the end of class. My first class as a child-care options overview, which helps parents sort through the multitude of childcare options and even helps you figure out just when to start looking.

This is an incredible resource center. Betty Cohen, the founder, is truly amazing and well educated. There is something for everyone here.
