The Baltimore zoo is a wonderful place to take your kids for a nice day out. Unfortunately, I took my son there for the first time when I was 9 months pregnant with my second child and it is VERY hilly. So, be prepared for a good hike!

We take our son to the Zoo at least once a year. This Zoo is perfect for his attention span and size right now (he's 2). The Washington Zoo is just too large for us right now.

We took the kids to the Balt Zoo in July. It was super hot, lots of walking, and not many animals to see. It was honestly a bit dissapointing for all.

We really like the Baltimore zoo. We have several small children so it is not verybig and overwhelming. It has elephants which a lot of zoos dont anymore which is a big deal for small kids. The giraffes are awesome to see. The family pass is very worth it and cost friendly. Definitely a great place to check out.
