QuoteI live 2 minutes from this place and although we did not purchase our baby's furniture from there (Munire line at Georgia Baby - which Baby's Room had same furniture only a little more expensive)we've purchased 2 other big ticket items: our Britax carseat, and Inglesina Zippy stroller. BOTH of these items had lower prices, due to sales, listed on Amazon.com and we called to see if they would match the price for us because we'd rather give a family owned business the business than Amazon and they obliged, happily both times. The stroller was in stock so we picked it up that day, but the Britax carseat has taken FOREVER to 'come in' from our order. The only thing that is not making this aspect leave a sour taste in our mouth about Baby's Place is that the owner of the store used to install carseats (was certified, trained, etc.) and he volunteered to install our carseat when we come to pick it up! That's true customer service. They really can't help that the manufacturer has taken so long to provide the item, so I won't hold that against them! The staff always seems nice, helpful, and friendly and the store is kept clean and straight. We'd love to purchase one of their gliders (all of their gliders are 'Best Chairs' brand and really nice) but they are all too expensive for us - they really don't have a range of prices when it comes to gliders.

QuoteThe service at this store is just horrible. We ordered a bedroom set for my daughter from the Munire line. It took them 3 attempts to give me a non broken wardrobe - a 6 month process. While the broken wardrobe came that way from the manufacturer, the store passed me off to the manufacturer to deal with them on getting new ones and never inspected the furniture before they delivered it. I am still trying to get new rails for the bed, which were also cracked, and now it it 10 months later. Supposedly they left a message for me 4 months ago that the new rails were in. I did not receive this message, and they never thought to call again to let me know they were there. For the price of the furniture, you definately are not getting quality, nor customer service. We had much better luck with Georgia Baby. Also, stay away from Munire furniture. It's made in Indonesia and is really bad quality.

QuoteThe location is great, as you don't have to run to a "mall" to find items for your baby. The staff has been great when I go in, and have seen many reps remember their prior customers and follow up with them on their previous purchases. So, compared to some others, I have seen their customer service as a plus. Although we found the best furniture for the nursery, it was just too expensive for what we wanted, although they do have many ideas that are resonably priced

QuoteMy twin sister lives in the suburbs and shops here almost exclusively for her baby products (stroller, furniture, etc.). As we are having children 5 months apart, I've often gone with her to this store when I drive up from Atlanta. We always end up talking to the couple and their son that own the store--they are great and are Boston natives so they really get into sports, etc. and even have sales when a Boston team does well! They have a great display room that is spacious and really allows you to get a feel for each nursery theme. They also have great sales--I just bought a Maxi Cosi for only $99! Needless to say, this store is definitely a highlight and a "must-stop" for all my trips to the suburbs.

QuoteWe bought a beautiful sleigh crib and matching dresser there. The prices were a bit high but the selection was vast and lots of good brands. I do agree with the other posting though, the staff was not helpful and the woman that helped us was very snooty and a bit pushy.
