A few months ago I made a big purchase from this store. At the beginning the sales person, I believe the owner (the older lady), was somewhat nice. I wanted to pick one kind of product, but she tried to push on me another product of the same brand. Of course, I went with my initial choice. I got my item with dirt and hole in it. It was terrible. I felt so down. People at the store claimed they had no idea that the item was old and apparently had been used and returned. So, they had to order a new one which too a long time to arrive. They are very disorganized, don't seem to tell the truth all the time and the older lady is can be very rude. If you call and speak with one person, he/she will advise you to talk to another person and so on. It's like a vicious circle. They say, they'll call back, but usually don't. I'm never again going to put my foot in that store again and told my other friends who are going to have babies to not go there. There are many other baby stores in Twin Cities with excellent customer service. Baby on Grand isn't special. All they sell, can be found in other boutique and chain stores, as well as online. Save your time and precious energy for your baby and don't go there.

I really enjoy shopping at Baby Grand. They have better quality products than most stores, and a surprisingly good selection for such a small shop. We purchased a stroller there and loved their knowledge of the products and help in selecting one to fit our needs. It's also really nice that they offer a 10% discount on accessories if you purchased your stroller there. It can be a bit pricey, but we've found that for what we're looking for, the prices were competitive.

There are great decorating ideas and so many fun things to look at and buy. I was there very often while pregnant with my first child!

This store sells itself as a high-end baby boutique and they have some of the nice items, but not the exceptional customer experience you'd expect from such a store. We recently purchased a very expensive stroller there and after having it home from the store for one day, found it elsewhere for much less money, and from a place that would ship it to my sister's home out of state for free. Baby Grand had assemlbed the strolled for us without us asking but also did not tell us that meant we couldn't return it. They would not honor the other price, would not ship it for my sister, and the owner of the store argued with my mother and pregnant sister for over an hour. My sister was sobbing (the owner could have cared less that his pregnant customer was so upset) and after eventually taking the stroller back, the owner actually told my mother and sister to never shop at his store again. Per his request, we will not be back and encourage others to do the same.

I understand this is a baby "boutique" and therefore more pricier then say...your baby Gap, however, it's not just expensive, it's downright break the bank expensive! Not only that, but the staff is way snobby and only seemed to want to help the customer's who look like they "have money." Sorry to say that I came to this store highly recommended by another friend, but I was highly disappointed!
