Initially, my daughter loved the music in these classes. I found that the songs helped me remember the signs. It took 2 semesters for her to begin signing, but when she was finally able to communicate with us (asking for food or milk) it was exciting and rewarding for both of us!

BabyFingers classes are great. My daughter was signing at 8 months, and saying her first ten words at 9 months. I attribute her early speaking to learning to sign with Lora -- she (our daughter) understood the importance of language and communication. Lora uses music to teach signing. It's a great music class, and much more interesting for the parents than just a "plain" music class. Plus, I love teaching my daughter another language that enables her to communicate with others.

Lora Heller is marvelous. This is our third "semester" and our son adores the class. We have met wonderful other moms and, best of all, our son lights up when we sing the songs and has learned to communicate with signs. This is our favorite class in New York.
