Great for newborns and young infants, but my children outgrew it by 4 or 5 months.

Strange looking thing. Not attractive when you're walking on the streets with this

The New Native sling is a waste of money - it's uncomfortable and my son hated it. I ended up making my own Moby and we both adore it - luckily I bought the New Native used so I didn't waste too much money on it.

The Thing about the New Native vs. other puch slings is that the pouch itself is VERY deep, which is great for babies that like the feeling of being kind've hidden and warm and snuggled. However, most babies grow out of the desire to be in that hidden pouch spot rather quickly and want to be able to look out at things if they choose.
It's also a pouch sling, which means that it isn't adjustable so you MUST get the right size in order for it to be comfortable for the mother to wear and safe for the child to be worn in it.
The material itself is well made, and it can be a comfortable sling,it just MUST be sized correctly, which can be ahrd to do with such a deep pocket. I think also, that alot of moms want to be able to look down and see baby and it can be hard sometime when they're so deeply snuggled in there.
