I had to write a review because I could not let the negative one I just saw go unchallenged. I am so grateful that I took Babies First Class with Jackie Rosenberg!!! Her critics say, "It's her way or the highway." Well, she's confident. She has years of experience as an educator, parent and grandparent. I needed that clarity. I needed that knowledge. I am the parent I am today because of her class. Sure there are lots of wonderful resources. If I had to choose one...it would be Jackie. Lastly, some people who are overly sensitive, like myself, can easily take her direct tone as harsh ,and personal. I implore you, don't let that stop you from taking this class. Don't let others comments, based on their "feelings" and not facts stop you. Her naysayers never sight facts or examples. If you are pregnant I suggest you run to the phone and call her!!!

I went in there expecting a lot from this class, I was hearing so many great things about it from other Moms. I have to say, Jackie is amazing and has amazing information. The problem I had was with the other moms in the class. I felt they were really petty and had strong cliques that I wasn't a part of. I felt discriminated against because I wasn't Jewish. I definitely didn't make lifelong friends. In fact I made none which was a real disapointment to me. I really had hoped to find good friends but instead felt like an outsider.

I just had my second baby and have already called Jackie 4-times to recall how it is I did something with my child or for advice on how to help my older child deal with having a new sibling. You may not always agree with her, but the bulk of her information is life-saving. Whenever I met a neurotic mother I know she didn't do Jackie's class.

Jackie can be very rude and was to me. I'm just glad there are other more nurturing places for new moms.

I am thankful everyday for having been told to sign up for Jackie's class. Granted, I worried if I would make the waitlist, but it was definitely worth it! My best friends are mommies I met in the class, and as a quasi-neurotic first time mommy (with a million questions) this class has been both informative and enriching. I like that Jackie offers her insight, and truth be told- you can use what works for you, and bypass what doesn't. It's just a great all around place for developing positive parenting skills, and introducing your child to social interactive play. I would highly recommend her class, but the rumors are true... call her as soon as you know your due date! :)
