I am thankful everyday for having been told to sign up for Jackie's class. Granted, I worried if I would make the waitlist, but it was definitely worth it! My best friends are mommies I met in the class, and as a quasi-neurotic first time mommy (with a million questions) this class has been both informative and enriching. I like that Jackie offers her insight, and truth be told- you can use what works for you, and bypass what doesn't. It's just a great all around place for developing positive parenting skills, and introducing your child to social interactive play. I would highly recommend her class, but the rumors are true... call her as soon as you know your due date! :)

Jackie's class is really an incredible class. I disagree with the other mom's complain that it is a lecture. She starts out her classes where people discuss their week's problems/issues and discusses what might work. She never tells you that you are doing something wrong. But if you are having a problem and ask her how to fix it, she will tell you how she would handle the situation or what you can try. She always tells you to listen to your doctor first. She is an experienced woman, who knows what she is talking about! As a new mother, I wanted someone to help me. I didn't want wishy washy answers. I wanted someone to tell me what I needed to do. I appreciate that! For those who don't want someone telling them "what to do" they just don't have to discuss their personal issues in class! Bottom line ... in Jackie's class you will get GREAT advice and meet great friends! Jackie is amazing!

Babies First Class with Jackie Rosenberg is a lecture "class" by a woman who thinks she is the only word in parenting. I heard that it was "her way or the highway" before I registerd, but as all other newly pregnant moms, when a few of my friends told me to sign up for this class as soon as I found out I was pregnant, I did. I was sorely disappointed. I met some lovely women but really resented the way Jackie spoke to us. When my baby and I didn't fit into her prescribed way of doing things I was made to feel like I was doing something wrong instead of the fact that her way didn't work for us. We found a much better class in Encino that is a discussion group versus a lecture and where we learned lots of different approaches so that we could find what worked best for us. Thankfully there are more options out there.
