I love the ark toy store. when you walk into the store it feels like you are in a midevil castle. All the toys are very classic and they do not have anything that needs batteries or has cartoon characters all over it. This is a great place to find toys that will stimulate your childs imagination. They also have a great staff that is ready to help you find what your looking for.

Cute selection of unique, nice quality children's toys. They have age appropriate items from 0-5 and the staff is usually pretty helpful.

I love the selection at the Ark in Berkeley. Plenty of fun, durable items, a great place for parents looking for wood and fabric toys (to avoid plastics). Independent toy shops like this one offer an alternative to the over-hyped, over-marketed offers at the big box stores.

Beautiful toys to hunger after, but if you buy everything you want your family will go hungry for months afterwards. It's also little difficult to maneuver.
