It's a nice place to take a walk and relax with the family. Not very big. You won't spend a whole day there. Usually we spend one to two hours there.

I love comming here with the family. We enjoy seeing the older buildings tractor/train rides. Kids love to see the animals. Great close location for a fun day to picknic

we LOVE ardenwood- for year round events. Our favorite park is spring/ summertime they do a 6 week (once a week) class geared towards toddlers where they teach them about the different animals on the farm. They even get to pet the animals and this year they goats had babies- so cute!!!

I took my toddler twins to the pumpkin patch here (outside the farm, so no admission fee) which is actually associated with the organic farm in the same location. We had a really good time! Large selection of pumpkins (on dirt not on the vine) and a hay pyramid that the older kids enjoyed climbing on. Tractor rides (min. age two years) can't remember the cost (approx. $7 a person?). On your first visit you'll want to know that the tractor ride tickets are sold at the snack stand (only minimal junk folld sold) and that empty wagons/wheelbarrows for pumpkins are returned and quickly snatched by the patch "regulars" - surprisingly there aren't really signs tell you either of these things. Outhouses and portable sinks at the pumpking patch. Good parking.

Our kids liked Ardenwood more as they got older but even as toddlers they (and we, the parents) had fun and learned new things. Check out the butterflies when they migrate!
