QuoteThis monitor helped me feel comfortable in letting my baby sleep in her nursery. The "tic" helps me know she's breathing, and I can always hear her moving around. We've had some "false alarms" in the middle of the night; however, those are easily dealt with and don't occur often (usually only when the baby has rolled to the opposite side of the matress). I would rather have a few false alarms than the alternative! The only complaint I have is that the device seems to eat up batteries, so it pretty much has to be plugged in all of the time.

QuoteThis monitor was so helpful once my son was removed from his apnea monitor! I still checked on him from worry throughout the night, but could sleep a little easier using this. The "tic" is annoying, but can be turned off.

QuoteI absolutely cannot rave enough about angelcare monitors. We have been using them with our twins since they were newborns and it helped me sleep easier at night with a motion sensor to detect their breathing. We have two and they never interfere with each other even in the same room!

QuoteThis monitor is sensitive so it picks up everything. It also has portable devices that you can take with you around the house! I love it!

QuoteI love these monitors! As a first time mom I was scared about SIDS but I slept so much better knowing that the motion sensor would alert me is there were any problems. We had a couple false alarms in the first 6 months when he started rolling toward the sides of the crib more. But I'd rather a false alarm to a true scare! Just know you might get a couple of these... Once he started rolling more though we just turned off the motion sensor and used the sound monitor. I would definitely recommend these to a first time parent!
