This is definitely a unique and fun playground but toddlers will quickly be frustrated by the complexity of the equipment. Also the bathrooms are filthy.

Nothing ancient about this playground except for its proximity to the Met. Tons for all kids to do - from swings, to sand to sprinklers in the summertime.

cool playground across from museum. great for locals or if visiting NY. For slightly older kids. Some of the equipment is harder to play with.
