Over 4 years, I have found almost 8 good sitters that I used very regularly (2-3x per week each) ---unfortunately some graduated and moved on. I would say that 4/5 of replies I got were totally suitable. The AU students seem motivated and smart and I feel really good about using them.
Wish all websites were this user friendly!

Very good way to find sitters...however you MUST check references and I suggest having each one over for a pre-sitting trial.

This is a great way to find a sitter if you live in upper NW! Fun, energetic kids with time on their hands who need money.

I've never succeeded in hiring anyone by posting an ad on this site. It seems that the demand for babysitters is a lot higher than the supply. You might have better luck contacting students directly. (The site also has a database of students who have expressed interest in different kinds of work.)
