Twice a week, drop in basis. Very knowledgeable and sympathetic and nurturing lactation consultants available to answer any questions about breastfeeding. You also meet other moms.

Our daughter had to be admitted to the Newborn ICU and my husband and I could not be any more impressed with the facilities, care provided by the staff and the great customer service as professionals. We are nurses and compared to the NICU at our workplaces, Alta Bates is superior. The nurses are great, always keeping us informed.

The class is taught by a wonderful, knowledgable person, who encourages new parents to be thoughtful, and ask many questions. She really helped my huband and I to prepare for every eventuality
