Very thorough physician and staff. The prices are affordable for those without insurance. He will openly accept patients who are not immunized.

Dr. Abrams is a unique doctor in many respects. Unlike most pediatricians, he will perform an newborn infant's hospital exam in the mother's hospital room, rather than away in the nursery. He is understanding to new parent concerns and doesn't try to push a one-sided opinion (for example, where vaccinations or tests are concerned). After careful consultation with Dr. Abrams, we decided that some tests should be performed on our newborn, but opted out of others that were routine but not necessary. With older children, Dr. Abrams is kind and non-threatening, and with parents, always courteous. How many doctors apologize for keeping you waiting when you haven't actually been waiting? His staff is wonderful and immediately places patients in exam rooms that have toys, rather than wait in a waiting room with other sick children. He is also very helpful with phone consultations, not requiring a visit for every concern.
