Hi, everyone.

My name is Tammy B and this is my baby. I was that stay at home mom who did every new fangled op that came along, in the hopes that it would help bridge that gap in what came in ($) and what went out. Also, it gave me something to escape into.

One day I realized something that changed the way I was seeing everything. There are tons of "Avon" reps.. what makes me so different. That's the key. It's not about the products ... we all know about them. It's about the person behind it all that counts. The woman who is trying to make it work because the phone bill depends on it. How does she get a leg up?

The answer....Self-marketing. Through self marketing you are able to market multiple things because the people get to know who YOU are. If they know you... and your name... they can then find all the products or services you are providing. Makes sense doesn't it.

Why is this important? Well, how many have gone to a website from a lady you met at a networking place, only to find that she is no longer with that company. Or maybe they typed the url in wrong. You just lost a customer. If they remember your name, they will know how to find you.

How do you self-market? Register your name as a domain. Why? Think about it.... When you meet someone for the first time what do you do? "Hi, My name is Tammy B. I'm an Independent Rep for [insert company here]." Then you turn around and market the last part of that statement.... why? It's YOU that counts. If YOU want to make this work then market yourself FIRST. That way it doesn't matter what you decide to sell this year.
