Topic: mom/baby adventure ideas around town

Anyone have some suggestions about fun mini-jaunts with a toddler (outside of TIM and swimming?) I'm always a bit nervous heading out to Boston and surround on my own unless I've plotted out the baby-friendly spots beforehand.

 I took my daughter into Boston twice this week (we live just north) and we rode teh commuter rail from home, she loved the train.  We also just walked a lot and went to the Common to play.  There are several great playgrounds:  Columbus Park, the Common, and one near the Navy Yard in Charlestown.  From the Navy Yard you can then take a Ferry bost back to the Aquarium.  Fun for all!
