My almost 9 month old daughter has had a rough day and I think it could be she is teething. Her mood was off, her nose was red, her poop was a little runny, and she cried most of the day. What "signs" did you notice when your kids started teething. My son her twin always puts everything in his mouth, her not so much...

With my daughter Charlotte, it was like she had a cold. A little fever, runny nose, so cranky that my first Mothers Day was spent holding her. I didn't put her down for about 2 days. I also remember her having a tad bit of bad breathe. She wasn't a drooler though. My doc recommended Boiron Chamomilla pellets for teething and irritability, and Boiron Mercurius Solubilis pellets bad breathe and drooling. I think I got them at Whole Foods. They are homeopathic. Good luck ! I'm now going through it again with her molars. Not fun at all :(

My daughter had her hands in her mouth and was chewing on anything she could find when she was teething.  There are also Hyland's teething tablets that are useful.

My duaghter is teething & has the same symptoms. I've been using Hyland's teething tablets. They are all-natural & disolve quickly in the mouth. They've worked out well so far. Good luck!

My daughter was five months when she broke her first teeth, and she was just very cranky, drooly, and chewy. By 14 months she had 16 teeth, and I could tell you exactly when they were coming in. Three days before they would break through she would start biting everything and screaming for no reason after being happy for a moment. Her little friend though, was teething for months before he got a tooth in, and you could actually feel the tooth for seven months before it broke the skin. It's different for every baby, but those sound like lots of signs. Ciara liked to bite and chew when her teeth were coming in, while her friend Michael wouldn't eat or do anything with his mouth.

Teething tends to come in waves.  Three bad nights in a row might be teething.

Drooling.  Everything in the mouth.  A fussier than usual kid.

The best treatment is tylenol.

And ice cold wash cloths to chew.
