My family is moving out of Manhattan to New Jersey at the end of November and unfortunately our wonderful nanny, Tasha, will not be able to make the move with us as she resides in Brooklyn. As such, I am currently trying to assist her in finding a new position in Manhattan. She has been a nanny in the tri-state area for over 10 years. Tasha has been our full time nanny (8:30am to 7pm - Monday through Friday) for 2 years caring for our two sons who are currently 2.5 years and 4.5 years. Tasha really is amazing with them. She keeps the boys very active. She has taken them to a variety of classes where she is always an active participant and does drop off/pick up from nursery school. Tasha is great at getting to know other nannies/moms she meets through classes/school and scheduling playdates at various locations (e.g. playgrounds, museums, and the zoo) during the week. The boys have a very active social life and are never short on activities. Tasha is very creative and assists the boys with a variety of art, music and dance projects on a regular basis. Tasha also does light housekeeping for us related to the boys including their laundry, straightening their room and the playroom and keeping the kitchen clean throughout the day. Tasha has her green card and her driver’s license. She also babysits for us regularly at night and on the weekends as needed. We are very sad that Tasha is not making the move with us, but we know she will make another family very happy.
