"the word-of-mouth survival guide for OCEANSIDE parents"
Ok, so I am new in town (moved here from Austin) and I have yet to find ANY (as in: 0) fun, kid-friendly restaurants. And by "kid-friendly" I don't just mean they have a kids menu and booster seats. I mean they have some sort of entertainment to keep the kids busy while the parents eat (playgrounds ideally, but anything would be a plus). In Austin, these kinds of places are everywhere - Central Market, Phils, Waterloo, Amy's, etc. Is there anything like this in Houston? Or shall I continue to pine for my hippy-filled, yet ironically kid-friendly town of atx? Thanks! Where are all the kid-friendly restaurants?
