Hi, I am a fairly new mom and new to this board and talking to people outside my friends and family - this will be interesting. As I read some of the questions on here, I do actually have 1 piece of advice to mothers like me...
In the lil over 6 weeks since i started BF'g, I had such sore and cracked nipples and we ended up with thrush twice. My aunt (very close to me and like a sister) came across these new bras that use the heat of your body to evaporate the milk, they are leak proof and need no pads. I almost fell off the floor laughing when she told me about ordering them for me, I thought it sounded like something from a scifi movie - well they arrived a lil' over a week ago and they are magnificent. I am nevery wet, never smelly like sour milk and thank God, I never have to peel another pad off my "girls". I used to leak through to my clothes and onto my mattress at night, but i have not since these came into my life. It's....wow, to say the least
