I first used a Baby Bjorn carrier with my daughter, Roo. She's 4 1/2 now. My all-time favorite Bjorn product is the incredibly useful stepstool. I'd like to have one in every room in the house! I also really love the plate set, which I am using with my 15 month old. It's fantastic!

I am a first time mom and my daughter is almost 7 months. My BabyBjornBaby Carrier Air is by far one of my most favorite products that I have use so far. I has given me tha ability to cook dinner, and do things with my hands when my daughter is wanting to be held. In the first three months of her life, I don't think I could have gotten anything done had it not been for that product. It is so comfortable and easy to use!!!

She still enjoys it while we are wandering around the mall or grocery store.I highly recommend it to  all parents!!! I wish now that I had a new colorful carrier and think that was a great addition to the BabyBjorn product line.

12 years ago I learned about baby wearing as a teqnique to encourage healthy realtionships between parent and child.

I used a sling carrier with my first two but found it difficult to cook, bake and do laundry as I would always think the baby would fall out. With my third child I had a non Bjorn carrier that I used until he was 3 months but I had to stop because when he got that size, the straps of the carrier would dig into me. PLUS it was difficult to put him in and take him out and if he fell asleep, I would end up waking him up when I took him out. My fourth and fifth children are twins and I had two slings to carry them around one on each hip. Six, as we call her, was brought into the world into a busy family and finally we have a Baby Bjorn to use to wear her. I LOVE how it connects to the straps, making it SUPER asy to carry her around during her fussy times. She falls asleep in it and I am able to transfer her to her crib without waking her. The straps will never dig into me, it's SUPER easy to adjust, my husband can use the carrier, it's nice and padded and doesn't have a goofy hip belt which makes it SUPER DUPER easy to adjust to 'kissing height'. (the instructions on the Baby Bjorn website say to raise it so that you can kiss your baby on her head)

SO! That's my story about the carrier and ow I will post another about the tiny potty :)

John and Kate plus eight.... Kate had the big potties for the kids. I liked them so I went to get one.... THEY ARE HUGE for the small place I have in the bathroom.

What I am tired of is the potty from Walmart comes in 5 pieces. It's developmentally o.k. because it resembles a toilet. Here's the problem with them:

  1. 5 pieces and a 24 month old means that the child spends more time taking apart and putting it together.
  2. the pieces don't fit well together and it comes apart often
  3. the "pot" does not lock into it and makes a mess when the child tried to dump it himself.
  4. the spray guard comes off and gets lost besides which, the pediatricians advise NOT using them
  5. the spray guard hurts the child when they miss as they sit
  6. and the worst reason I don't like this potty is: the plastic has sharp corners and edges.

Now, the Bjorn one....I LOVE IT Why:

  1. it's one moulded piece
  2. they come in 2 sizes, I have the small one
  3. the spray guard is integrated
  4. the raised front creates a barrier so that Johnny can't play with himself when he's practicing to use the John
  5. it has a handle cut out so you can pick it up and no pot to deal with
  6. the plastic is soft, shiny excellent quality and very easy to clean.

Of all my kids and of all the potties I have used, this one is the best for the above reasons, but with even one more fabulous advantage. Babies squat when they poop and it's a difficult thing to accomplish when we sit them in a different position and the Baby Bjorn potty is so low to the ground, that the child HAS to squat.

I will be infant training Six, so I will tell you in a few months how much more I love it :)
