Hi, Everyone! I hope everyone is well and getting ready for fall. My family has been keeping me busy with kindergarten for my older son and storytime for my younger one. Does anyone else have their kids in classes or activities? If so, what are they? Would you mind sharing some of the pros and cons? Yeah, it's almost Halloween! I highly recommend going to Kmart because their Halloween stuff is now 40%! Today, we have procrastinated long enough to get a good deal on a costume for Dominic. He will be one of his favorite NASCAR drivers Jeff Gordon. We plan on recycling Dominic's costume from last year (NASCAR driver Tony Stewart) for Vincent. Yes, my boys are obsessed with NASCAR and the Cars Movie. So what's everyone's kids dressing up as? Do you still dress up, too? If so, what do you plan to be? Are you planning on walking around the neighborhood? Or the mall? Or the local community center? For the past couple of years, we've been going to the Temple City's Halloween Carnival at Live Oak Park. It is great for families with little ones. The kids can play games at the various booths and win candy. Older kids can go into the haunted maze that is set up on the tennis courts. They also sell some great snacks like funnel cakes and candied apples! Hope you and your family have a wonderful Halloween!
