Atlanta What do you typically spend on other kid's b-day presents? It seems we have a child's b-day party to attend every other weekend. I tend to overspend on neighborhood kid gifts but will spend only about $10-12 on gifts for kid's in my son's preschool, etc. Sometime we get invited to b-day parties of children we hardly know - I wouldn't even know what things to get these children or what an "appropriate" price range may be. 	Well that seems to happen to me all the time as well. Personally I've started setting a $15 to $20 limit on kids birthday presents, UNLESS its for my own kids or my neice and nephew. I usually have a $50 limit for birthdays for them...which seems fair, because I end up spending close to $300 a piece on them for Christmas. I still have a hard time knowing what to buy other kids though, so now when I call the parent to rsvp, I simply ask what they like to get an idea. Hope that helps! Flag
