	I think my daughter was 11 or 12. I don't think there is any harm in her getting a bra, it's seems to be they just want to fit in with the other girls and it's a "girly thing" to do. If it will make her feel good I say do it, it's a big deal for them. I know it was for my daughter anyway, she was very excited. Good luck! Flag

	I was about 11 when I started wearing a bra...and in my case I had stuff there to warrant the actual beginning of bra-dom... none of my friends had them. I don't think there is anything wrong with a bra... it may actually in the end be something she decides in uncomfortable, and not as cool as it seems... but de-mystifying the bra is probably not a bad thing... Flag

	I agree with all the previous posters. I asked my mom for a bra when I was about 11 or 12 because all of my friends had them. I definitely didn't need it lol. If it is something she would like to wear/have, I say go for it! Flag
