"the word-of-mouth survival guide for SAN FRANCISCO parents"
For the past six months or so my daughter has been engaging in self stimulation activity. My in-laws think there's a chance that it might be seizure activity, but it's likely just my daughter's way of zoning out when she is tired, bored or over-stimulated. I'm not sure what to think about it. The doctor assures me that it's nothing to be worried about, and it's similar to thumb sucking activity. Our pediatrician's office has suggested that my husband and I just need to decide when and where we feel it is appropriate for her to engage in this activity. They said over time she will eventually grow out of it. I'm not sure how to handle this activity and what sort of perameters to set for her. Does anyone have any experience with this type of activity and advice on how to manage it? Toddler Self Stimulation Activity Minneapolis- Stores, Restaurants, Services, Products, Activities, Events
