Orange County Suggestions for Family Friendly resorts? I am looking to plan a family vacation with the kids to "somewhere." Preferably, warm and relaxing but really we would love to find a resort that is totally family friendly, fun slids and water play for the kids, maybe even all inclusive. But not Disney World. We do enough Disney here in SoCal. I would be up for anything close (like SD) or Hawaii, Bahamas, etc. Not really looking for the Wisconsin Dells either :> Any suggestions on places you've been or heard of that are GREAT please let me know! 	I am on board with you...a fun family place would be great. We are specifically looking for somewhere fun for the kids in Palm Springs. Anyone have some great references for a resort type atmospher, kid friendly place in Palm Springs?? Flag

	Check out Rancho Las Palmas and/or the Westin Villas in Rancho Mirage area. They both have great pools and are totally family friendly. Usually, you can get some good deals in the summer time. Otherwise, not sure of any others that are good out that way! Flag

	I found a site a few years ago that I like and have used for researching family trips with my own toddlers and for multi-generational reunions. The site is www.ciaobambino.com and they have a mix of large resorts and smaller independent lodgings. The site is very user-friendly but it's addictive! I have made a wishlist from the resorts because there are so many interesting ones. There are a few Hawaii reviews - I did one for Kahana Village in Maui which was really great - went with 13 family members last year and really enjoyed it. Anyway, good luck and hopefully the site will give you some ideas. If you have questions about different hotels they are pretty helpful too. Flag
