I was splitting my time between my group and groups on lilaguide, yahoo groups and mamasource. I had noticed a lot of responses from people in Reno, Sparks etc about area specific questions that got little to no answers and so I invited those people via private message to my local group here on lilaguide. Since mamasource is like a mom oriented yahoo answers and my group is basically a mom related group on lilaguide like yahoo groups, no problem right?

They deleted my account with no warning whatsoever for violating terms by "promoting a commercial site". I e-mailed them about it since I hadn't gotten a warning and I didn't even know what I was doing was wrong and no response.

Has anyone else been removed from their site without warning too? I had answered some 164 questions...I'm kinda mad!

I didn't realize until they upset me that apparently they're big time spammers too. I wanted to post my review of www.mamasource.com and how they don't give you any warning when you're doing something wrong and you don't know it and when I googled I found a TON of people mad as hell at them!

They have pages upon pages of shady practice blogs and how you can't unsubscribe etc. So I guess having my account deleted was a good thing. Hard as it was to meet people on there though, I did make a few aquaintences and they're messages were in my files and now lost... it's my only regret :(
