For those mothers who use daycare... How old was your child(ren) when you started using daycare?
10 wks old, i had to go back to work after 6 wks off maternity leave, my mother came for the 3wks until she was 10 wks
My daughter started daycare at 6 weeks old. Just make sure you get to know your child's daycare and teacher beforehand and it makes it a lot easier. A good daycare will let you just show up unannounced and sit in the room with your newborn for an hour or so, so that you can see what happens on a daily basis.
I started her at 10 weeks, but she doesn't usually go for a full week. We play hookie some times. I drop in whenever I want, and since I'm self employeed and work from home, they never know when to expect me, and they're always on their best behavior.
