You did great!

We get food from Pioneer Organics, and that is one way we go green in this house.

We will cloth diaper the baby when we get him (adoption). Have you heard of gDiapers?

I vow to make my own baby food for my son.  I vow to never feed him from a plastic baby bottle unless it is BPA free.  I vow to continue to use cloth diapers :o)

I am going to try and make my own baby food, but if I end up not being able to, I will look for the Happy Baby food cubes in the frozen section. I'm going to go look for low VOC paint for the nursery, too.

I have been enjoying going GREEN! I want a better place for my daughter and I don't want to fill her belly with chemicals and other things that I can not even spell. I have invested in making her own baby food when she is ready to start. This is also beneficial for my husband and me as well. I don't think people don't understand going Green isn't about being a hippy or earth muffin but it helps the environment! It is a healthier way of life for people and the earth. My husband and I are BIG recyclers anything and everything we try to produce as little trash as possible, it has been pretty easy since we have been buying fresh produce and meat. This is also a great way to support your local farms in your area by buying supplies at the farmers markets.

Awe Lauren - you're so cute and you did a great job!  :)

My "baby" is now two, so not a lot applied to us (well, we already use California Baby, cloth diapers and wipes and she eats table food now) BUT - I've been wanting to get a few more stainless steel drink bottles (she has one, keeping it clean and being able to locate it has been the challenge) so this month I vow to get each of my girls at least ONE more Sigg or Kleen Kanteen bottle.

You do a great job keeping things hopping around here too by the way...thanks for your efforts mama!

~Amy

I love learning about new products for babies - even though mine are grown.  I was going green long before it was pc - using cloth diapers, making my own baby food, nursing my babies - because it was cheaper, easier and better for them and we lived overseas where fewer options for excess were available.  I liked the idea of the blanket/toys made of plastics and the baby bottles.

We love living green! We use EE light bulbs and we have a wonderful garden in our backyard and we compost! We feed our daughter 100% organic food. We don't use any plastic in our house for cooking at all and we love Seventh Generation products! You did an amazing job Lauren! I was so proud watching you! We all watched(Ella, Adrian and I) Courtney
