Any one have experience with hampsters? Or other easy pet suggestions?
Hi. Though some pets are easier than others, I'm not so sure there's such a thing as an easy pet. All pets involve learning about responsibility -- and eventually about death (and possibly disease) -- so it depends on the age of your kids. I find that kids who grow up with animals develop a bond with them and that's worth the work. Good luck!
I think FISH are easy... JUST don't get GOLDFISH, yes they are pretty, but they are DIRTY, and not many other fish will survive in the same tank with them! I did NOT know this when my son won a Goldfish at the Carnival! But found out after getting several other fish, only to find them floating within a couple of days! Albino Frogs... They are so fun to watch!
Also, it is relaxing to watch the fish!! Just my opinion!
