I need advice on how to get my twins to behave with each other.  They act as if they can't stand one another.

I'm probably the worst mother ever. I'm at least a little unconventional. When my twins were in the fighting stage I told them they couldn't play together anymore. I put them each in a separate area to play with the exact same toys. I fed them lunch separately and on and on. Before you know it they were begging me to put them back together and they rarely fight now.

I always have to remind myself that it's just a stage. They'll blow through it in a little while and be playing together again like best friends. I think that what Mom 'O Twins said was great. It gives them time apart and keeps the peace. I have definitely told the boys I nanny for that they can't play together if they're going to fight. I give them a few options of things they can play seperately. The other option is to take them to a big playground (or even a field) where they can just run and get away from each other. Good luck. The fighting stages are tough.
I write a blog called Nanner! Nanner! Nanner! about nannying twins if you're ever interested: http://nannernannernanner.blogspot.com

Hello,

I see you have Twins. I also have Twins.

I thought I would invite you to join our group called "Mommies of Multiples".

We would love to have you.

Have a Great Day :-)

Oh, as for the fighting, like someone else said, I had to split my girls up for a while. It was the only thing that worked for them.

I agree seperate them if you can or take them to a field where they can run that off. It is a stage that will progress into more stuff. Like who will sit where at the table. The other day we had a blow out because one twin thought the other was copying her for getting the same drink at resturant. I ate with one twin in the play area while the other was with dad on the otherside of the resturant. My husband and I talked to each other via cell. Life with twins yayyy!!!!!!!!
