I was on the Hennepin County website checking out summer story times around the city and stumbled upon a list of recommended books for toddlers.  I thought I'd pass it on to you.  You can print the list of books and check them out at the library or use the list to purchase the books for your home.  I love to buy books for my daughter, more than toys or anything else.  She loves to be read to as well as look at the books herself. I believe reading is such a healthy and simple activity that will have long lasting positive effects.  Here is the link to the list of recommended books:  http://www.hclib.org/BirthTo6/BookListAction.cfm?PrintMe=Y&list_num=66

Well this one may be a bit old for aToddler but it sure is cute!  I wen to the library and they have a hole bunch of books in bags to check out at one time.  They were donated from Target.  And this was one of the books inside.  This is the first time that I checked out a bag of books but it was a great idea!
