My daughter loves, and I mean loves to take baths.  To the point where she cries and cries and cries when it is time to get out.  I love that she loves the water, getting clean, etc, but it is becoming a huge issue and it is disrupting our bedtime routine.

 What to do?

When my kids don't want to leave the bath, I ask them to say goodbye to the water.  That means that they get to flip the switch on the drain.  Very exciting.  Then they sit on the drain as the water goes down and they feel the suction.  Thrilling.  Pretty soon, there's no more water and it's getting cold.  I have the warm, fluffy towel.  

 Mom is still more clever, by God.
