My 4 year old keeps asking me what a street sign or business sign says.  He calls out the letters.  He seems very interested in reading.  I don't want to push him, but are there any toys that can help him with this?  Even computer ones would be great.

try the leapfrog stuff the videos are wodnerful and at 4 hes ready  I started reading at 4 myself  but only have one that has started that early so far but have one more to go to see if she will read early..   on the same thing my 2nd oldest is having such a hard time reading even though I did so many thigns to help her she has no intrest and is fidning it very hard to read..  take the cues from him and get the boy some books and good flash cards reading is all mememory based so introduce as many words as you can and keep them up    oh try starfall online  and even a few of the preschool sites like noggin and PBS can help withthos types of things.. shoot me an email to remind me and I'l lsend you more links to good sites I'm not at my reg computer right now so dont have them all  dunnellonkids@aol.com    I have tons that I have rather over the years a few great for homeschooling too :)    oh make sure your subjey line say reading or something like that or I might mistake it for spam .. having alot of problems with that right now,
